Casa Nueva, holiday house with sea view in Puntagorda, La Palma Just under the sunny village Puntagorda, in the North-western part of the island La Palma stands Casa Nueva.
This holiday house stands on 600M above sea level in a large garden with a variety of flowers, shrubs and trees.

Casa Nueva is suitable for 1 or 2 persons.
Several shops and a restaurant are within walking distance.

The house stands in a quiet natural setting.
There is a good view over the Atlantic Ocean.
Enjoy the view, the sea view, the sunset and at night thousands of stars.

Accommodation
Casa Nueva has one room with a sitting area, kitchen area and sleeping area.
There is a separate bathroom.

In the sitting area you'll find a comfortable sofa, there is SAT-TV/radio, a DVD player and a radio/cd-player.
 

In the kitchen you'll find all you need to prepare your meals. There is a 4 hob gas stove, oven, refrigerator, toaster, coffee machine, electric juicer and a good selection of kitchen utensils.
 

The sleeping area can be closed with a curtain. There is a double bed (1.60m X 2.00m) with a good mattrass and a wardrobe.

The bathroom has a shower, wash basin and WC.
 
Area
Puntagorda is one of the most beautiful areas of La Palma, is in the north-west of the island and about 1,5 hours drive from the airport.
Puntagorda has various shops, a dispensing chemist, butcher, banks with cash dispensers, a post office, restaurants, typical local bars, public swimming pool and on Saturdays and Sundays there is a market in the Mercadillo selling local produce.
In January the almond trees start flowering in Puntagorda. Every year, at the end of January or beginning of February, Puntagorda celebrates the Festival of the Flowering Almond.
The area around Puntagorda is a must for nature lovers. There are many and varied walking paths, view points, some old windmils and El Fayal, a beautiful pine forest with barbecue and picnic area and childrens playground.
El Puerto has access to the sea. There is no beach, but in the summer months you can swim in the ocean.
Puntagorda is ideally situated for trips to the north of La Palma and the highest point of the island Roque de Los Muchachos.
It is ±45 minutes drive to the town of Los Llanos with the famous Plaza de España and the beautiful streets and houses. The sandy beach at Tazacorte is a ±35 minutes drive.
