Casa Nueva stands in a quiet natural setting, just under the sunny village Puntagorda, in the North-western part of the island La Palma.
This holiday house is in its own grounds with no direct neighbours, at about 600m above sea level.
The large garden has a variety of flowers, shrubs and trees. Guests are welcome to use the fruit, in season.
The separate outside kitchen contains a barbeque, sink and a large table and seats.
There is a good view over the Atlantic Ocean.
Enjoy nature, the view, the sea view, the sunset and at night thousands of stars.
Several shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Casa Nueva is suitable for 1 or 2 persons.

The sheltered and covered outside kitchen is a perfect place to prepare and having meals, enjoy a barbecue or drinking a glass of Traviesa, the wine of Puntagorda, while you are watching the beautiful sunset.

Accommodation

Casa Nueva has one room with a sitting area, kitchen area and sleeping area and a separate bathroom.

In the sitting area you will find a comfortable sofa and table with chairs.

There is SAT-TV/radio, a DVD player and a radio/cd-player.

In the kitchen you will find all you need to prepare your meals.

There are a 4 hob gas stove, oven, refrigerator, toaster, filter coffee machine, electric juicer, kitchen towels and a good selection of kitchen utensils.

The sleeping area can be closed with a curtain.
There is a double bed
(1.60m X 2.00m) with a good mattress and a wardrobe.

The bathroom has a shower, wash basin and WC.

Area

Puntagorda is one of the most beautiful areas of La Palma, is in the north-west of the island and about 1,5 hours drive from the airport.
Puntagorda has various shops, a dispensing chemist, butcher, banks with cash dispensers, a post office, restaurants, typical local bars, public swimming pool and on Saturdays and Sundays there is a market in the Mercadillo selling local produce.
In January the almond trees start flowering in Puntagorda. Every year, at the end of January or beginning of February, Puntagorda celebrates the Festival of the Flowering Almond.
The area around Puntagorda is a must for nature lovers. There are many and varied walking paths, view points, some old windmils and El Fayal, a beautiful pine forest with barbecue and picnic area and childrens playground.
El Puerto has access to the sea. There is no beach, but in the summer months you can swim in the ocean.
Puntagorda is ideally situated for trips to the north of La Palma and the highest point of the island Roque de Los Muchachos.
It is ±45 minutes drive to the town of Los Llanos with the famous Plaza de España and the beautiful streets and houses. The sandy beach at Tazacorte is a ±35 minutes drive.

The two holiday homes are on the same plot with about about 50 metres between them. The distance and the trees between the 2 houses provides privacy and peace and quiet. There are no other direct neighbours.
Both houses can be rented together for a party up to 6 persons.
